Elton John held a gala in the south of France to raise funds to fight HIV/AIDS in Kenya, Reuters reports. John sang at the piano for guests gathered for a dinner and an auction. The event was reportedly packed with celebrities, including Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and The Who guitarist Pete Townshend. The Elton John AIDS Foundation has donated some $450 million to projects since it was founded in 1992. Much of the money comes from annual parties and auctions.
