Lil Nas X Sued for Allegedly Stealing a Song According to TMZ, Lil Nas X and Sony are being sued by The Music Force. The Music Force claims that the 20-year-old rapper stole Bobby Caldwell's 1982 song, "Carry On." The suit says Lil Nas X and his producer were "motivated by greed and malicious intent" by releasing the song, also titled "Carry On." via lawsuit The Music Force is seeking $25 million in damages. The rapper's breakout hit, "Old Town Road," is currently tied for most weeks spent at No. 1 on the 'Billboard' Hot 100. The latest remix of the viral song features RM of BTS and is appropriately titled "Seoul Town Road."
