Theresa May Makes Farewell Speech, Wishing Boris Johnson Well

Theresa May resigned as prime minister and made way for her successor, Boris Johnson. According to Business Insider, May left parliament after her Brexit plan was rejected three times. She said: “I wish him and the government he will lead every good fortune in the months and years ahead.” May gave a farewell speech, saying she hopes the new leaders and country have success. To end her term, May will go to Buckingham Palace and offer her resignation to “The Queen.”
