More than half of Venezuela’s 23 states lost power on Monday.
Reuters reports the Venezuelan government blamed the blackout on an 'electromagnetic attack.'
Venezuelan Information Minister Jorge Rodriguez could not provide evidence for the claim.
It was the first blackout to include the capital, Caracas, since March.
That's when Nicolas Maduro's government blamed the opposition and United States for a series of power outages.
