Mariano Rivera Shines at Baseball Hall of Fame Ceremony The career saves leader was fittingly the final speaker at the Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Rivera was the first player unanimously voted into the HOF by the Baseball Writers' Association of America. The 55,000 in attendance was the second-largest for an induction ceremony.
