UPI reports pregnant women who live close to gas wells and oil refineries put their unborn infants at risk. New research shows the babies are at risk for developing pulmonary artery, aortic artery and valve defects. Mothers living near heavy oil and gas developments have a 40% to 70% greater chance of having babies with heart defects.
