On July 17, 2019, notorious drug Lord El Chapo was sentenced to life in prison and an additional 30 years. He was found guilty on 10 federal charges, including murder conspiracy and running a criminal enterprise. El Chapo is expected to serve his sentence at the Supermax federal facility in Colorado.
