How to Install GNOME MPV on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS?

What is GNOME MPV?

GNOME MPV is a lightweight video player built around the open source MPV media player software.

First, Right click on the desktop, and then click on 'Open Terminal.'


Step 1: Add PPA (Personal Package Archive)

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:xuzhen666/gnome-mpv

Step 2: Update Package Lists

sudo apt update


Step 3: Install GNOME MPV

sudo apt install gnome-mpv


Now, to open Gnome MPV Player. Click on 'Show Applications' at the bottom left. Do a search for 'Gnome MPV,' click on it to open it.
