Hoi-Polloi Groups Cut Out Sackler Family Over Opioid Crisis

Business Insider reports many high-end non-profits, museums, and hedge funds have cut ties with the Sackler family.
They include the Metropolitan Museum of New York, The National Portrait Gallery, and Balter Capital Management.
The family amassed a $13 billion fortune from Purdue Pharma, which owns OxyContin.
They've been accused of fueling the opioid epidemic because of how Purdue marketed the drug.
About 2,000 lawsuits have been filed against Purdue Pharma and the Sacklers nationwide.
