Gel nail polish lasts a long time, but it is extremely hard to remove outside of a salon. That's why Business Insider recently posted at home solutions to removing gel nails. They wrote that you will need, a "nail file, cuticle cream, cotton balls, acetone nail polish remover, aluminum foil, and a wooden nail stick, if you are doing an at home remedy. There are also at-home removal kits available.
