A new study suggests that the secondhand effects of alcohol consumption are a source of serious harm.
One in five Americans hurt by another person’s drinking annually, reports Gizmodo.
A report by the World Health Org found drinking directly contributed to just over 5% of all deaths worldwide in 2016.
These deaths ranged from car accidents, ODs, terminal cases of liver cancer, and other chronic diseases.
Alcohol is responsible for over one in 20 of all deaths worldwide.
