In a speech during Donald Trump's Fourth of July "Salute to America," the president made a "confusing and ahistorical reference." Trump made a reference to soldiers seizing airports during the Revolutionary War. According to Business Insider, Trump blamed the gaffe on a teleprompter error. Trump told reporters, "The rain knocked out the teleprompter." He went on to say, "That's not a good feeling when you are standing in front of millions and millions of people on television."
