A man received a prolonged electric shock after being unable to release a car wash pump at a repair shop in southern China.
In the CCTV video, shot in Nanning city in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on June 27, the man named Song picked up a car wash pump and received an electric shock.
Song can be seen attempting to get to let go of the pump but failed and fell to the ground.
He then struggled but eventually managed to unplug the pump from the extension cord to save himself and finally got back onto his feet.
Song's fingers and toes had injuries but he has made a full recovery.
