Michael B. Jordan in 'Black Panther 2' Is 'Pure Rumor' Marvel President Kevin Feige was asked about Jordan's involvement in the sequel in an interview with BET. Kevin Feige, via IndieWire Feige says that writer/ director Ryan Coogler has recently begun to write the script for the sequel. Jordan played the fan-favorite villain, Killmonger, in the 2018 Marvel smash hit. Rumors that the character would return for the sequel began to circulate earlier this year. Jordan recently revealed that portraying Killmonger "was a little tough," landing him in therapy. The date for the Black Panther sequel has yet to be announced.
