Dhanya Sanal becomes first woman to trek Agasthyarkoodam after Kerala HC lifted ban

The Agasthyarkoodam or the Agastya hill in Neyyar wildlife sanctuary in Thiruvananthapuram has customarily banned women of menstruating ages. But after the Kerala High Court lifted the unofficial ban in December 2018, Defence spokesperson Dhanya Sanal became the first woman to trek.
