Amazon Drops Teaser for Meek Mill's 'Free Meek' The trailer for the upcoming docuseries was revealed during the 2019 BET Awards. 'Free Meek,' which premieres on August 9, will consist of five episodes. It was executive produced by Jay-Z and will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime. 'Free Meek' focuses on the rapper's legal battles and takes a closer look into America's criminal justice system. Meek was given up to a four-year jail sentence in late 2017 for a probation violation. He has since been released on bail and had his jail sentence dismissed by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court last year. The court has also recently given Mill a new hearing as he appeals the 2008 charges.
