Hirota Kenzou is found dead in a cheap apartment where he stayed on. Megure Keibu found Masami's glasses near the crime scene. Just when they are at a lost about whereabouts of Masami, Shinichi remembered about his tracking device which he had put it on Masami's watch by accident. He followed the track, but found a big guy instead of Masami. Back to Detective Mouri Agency, a suspicious big guy was looking at the agency for long time. Mouri then remembered Megure Keibu did say a big guy could be related with Hirota Kenzou's death. Ran chased after him, and they managed to caught the guy. The guy then said he is a detective, hired by a certain big guy, which Shinichi has met once before with his tracking device.
