Giant octopus launches attack on diver off Sea of Japan

This is the scary moment a diver has a very close encounter with an octopus in the Sea of Japan.

Footage captured near Gamow Peninsula on June 3, shows the octopus approaching the diver and wrapping its tentacles around his knees and legs.

After a few minutes, the octopus gives in and swims away.
