A science teacher and YouTuber demonstrates how to expand marshmallows, balloons and even shaving cream in this mind-blowing experiment.

Footage shows Jacob Strickling using a vacuum pump to evacuate the air out of a tiny plastic bell jar, prompting the different elements inside to grow bigger.

The experiment was carried out at a home in Gosford, Australia, on June 11.
