Rain to taper off from capital area 061019

Good morning. After a dry May, the start of June has brought much-needed rain to central parts of the country. Overnight showers will gradually taper off for most areas while Jeolla-do Provinces and eastern regions could see more rain through tomorrow morning.

Western regions will see more rain this time. The Jeolla-do Provinces will see 10 to 50 millimeters, while Seoul and Chungcheong-do Province will receive 5 to 30 millimeters of rainfall before it completely goes away by mid afternoon.

Along with showers and lots of cloud coverage, temperatures will be a lot cooler,
especially those in southern regions will have relatively breezy temperatures today and through this week.

As for today's highs, temperatures will be in the low to mid twenties, many major cities will get up to 24 degrees, including Seoul.
