At its 2019 Worldwide Developer Conference, Apple announced that iTunes as we know it will no longer exist. Instead, it will be replaced by apps like Apple Music and Podcasts. First launched in 2001 as a music library manager, the app went on to become a music store, movie & TV show store, iPod media manager, iPhone manager, App Store, and home to various other content. However, it played a huge part in helping to reverse Apple’s downturn and got lots of PC users to try Apple software for the first time.
