Netflix Increasing Its Operations in New York City New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says the streaming giant will open a new production location in Brooklyn. The company will also soon move to bigger working spaces in the borough of Manhattan. Andrew Cuomo, via statement Currently, Netflix's offices in NYC have just over 30 employees. By 2024, its new Manhattan spot will have 127 more workers. Netflix must meet this hiring requirement to earn tax incentives worth $4 million. Over the next half decade, the hub will house new production positions estimated to be in the thousands. Netflix has produced many projects in NYC, such as 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.'
