Netflix Increasing Its Operations in New York City New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says the streaming giant will open a new production location in Brooklyn. By 2024, its new Manhattan spot will have 127 more workers. Netflix must meet this hiring requirement to earn tax incentives worth $4 million. Over the next half decade, the hub will house new production positions estimated to be in the thousands. Netflix has produced many projects in NYC, such as 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.'
