Veteran WR Demaryius Thomas Signs With the Patriots The 31-year-old played for the Texans and Broncos last year, recording 677 receiving yards. The four-time Pro Bowler's acquisition strengthens a smaller New England receiving corp after Chris Hogan left the Super Bowl-winning squad for the Panthers this offseason. Thomas will attempt to come back after suffering an achilles injury that ended his 2018 season. Up until the Texans trade, Thomas had spent his entire career with Denver after being drafted in 2010. He has amassed over 9,300 receiving yards and 62 touchdowns in his career.
