The spire atop Notre Dame Cathedral collapsed during a devastating blaze at the Paris cathedral today (April 15).

Footage shows the moment the spire falls after being consumed by flames engulfing the centuries-old church.

''It is terrible, you have no idea how shocked we all are,'' the filmer said.
