Paris’ greatest architectural landmarks. It has already collapsed the 300-foot spire of the building. The fire reportedly broke out in the attic of the
856-year-old cathedral before spreading to the roof. It was first was reported at 5:50pm local time
and the building was evacuated shortly after. The cause of the fire is unclear, but officials believe it
may be related to the buildings recent renovation work. The mayor of Paris has released a statement on
