Colee James is an independent artist bringing back the nostalgic sounds of 1960’s classic Americana music with a modern twist. Born and raised in the north country of Wisconsin, but settled for a long time in Texas, it's easy to see where her love for all things country grew. Her passion for old cars, tall cactus, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, and even designing blue jeans as a way to pay for her tunes, makes her authentic to her genre.
Last year Colee devoted most of her time to tracking and recording a collection of songs at Applehead Studios in Woodstock, New York with a live band. Colee's first single "Blue Jean Baby" was released last May and you can look forward to the release of her full-length album “Hymn for a Cowboy” this year.
