As the full moon sets over the frozen tundra of northern Canada the spectacular Northern Lights dazzle in all their glory.

Footage shows the full moon setting in the distance behind snow covered pine trees. The Northern Lights move across the screen in a snake-like motion leaving a green trace behind them.

The footage was taken over a 45 timelapse period and then sped up to create the fast movement.
