Amazing timelapse of a rare super worm moon raising behind the snow-capped peak of Mount Washington, Northeastern United States.

On Tuesday night (March 19), Ron Risman wanted to find a spot where he "could capture the full moon (98% full) the night before as it rose behind the peak of Mt. Washington."

The first full moon this month coincided with the start of the new season for the first time since 1905.

The 'worm moon' gets its name from folklore tradition, occurring at a time when frost on the ground melts and earthworms begin to emerge.
