R. Kelly Claims Unpaid Child Support
Was Ex-Wife's Fault Kelly recently landed himself
in jail for unpaid child support
totaling over $160,000. According to TMZ, the singer was released
after a "benefactor" paid what was owed
to his ex-wife, Andrea Kelly. Kelly claims he stopped paying
child support because Andrea turned
their children against him. Andrea says the checks stopped
coming in after she publicly
accused Kelly of abusing her. According to TMZ, she views it as
his way of controlling her. Andrea was also open to Kelly having a relationship with the kids but claims to not have heard from him since 2017. Upon leaving jail Saturday,
Kelly told fans, "we're gonna
straighten all this out."
