IHOP to Celebrate 'Free Pancake Day' on Tuesday For its 14th annual free pancake giveaway, the pancake chain is encouraging its customers to "flip it forward for kids." Customers who dine-in can get a free short stack of pancakes — one per person — while supplies last. IHOP hopes that participants will donate the price of their free short stack — about $6 — to one of three children's illness charities. The chain has a $4 million fundraising goal for children who are battling illness. And from now until April 14th, $1 from the purchase of the special "Oreo Oh My Goodness" pancake stack or combo will go to the charities. "Oreo Oh My Goodness" was created by 6-year-old patient of Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, Brody Simoncini. The Oreo pancake creation won the best pancake idea contest conducted among those treated at the hospital. IHOP Free Pancake Day is on Tuesday from 7a.m. to 7p.m. local time at participating IHOPs.
