Hannah gets embarrassed by her friend after they pull a prank on her winter break at the Washington’s lodge and runs out in the middle of the woods. Beth chases after Hannah and when she finds her, they get pursued by a mysterious figure and falls to their death off a cliff.
One year on, Sam (Hannah and Beth’s friend) returns to the Blackwood Pine lodge as she and her friends are invited to attend another getaway by the twin sisters’ brother Josh.
