Speaking exclusively to NewsX, general V K Singh said that he has written to the Prime Minister to look into this. He says that those behind defaming the army need to be punished. NewsX sister publication revealed that the top leadership of the UPA 2 government back in 2011-12 tried to hatch an attempted coup to divert the nation's attention from the massive corruption charges it was reeling under, the BJP has slammed the congress and the Gandhi family for spreading lies.
