Over 2,300 displaced riots victims of the Muzaffarnagar communal violence would be exercising their franchise in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls
More than 40,000 people were displaced and over 60 were killed in the communal violence last September. Polls in Muazaffarnagar and Shamli Lok Sabha constituencies have been fixed on April 10. About 15 lakh voters would exercise their franchise in the district and 888 polling centres have been established for the purpose.
