Liver of Indore donor reaches Gurgaon from IGI in 20 minutes

In a first-of-its-kind medical transplant, the liver of a brain-dead patient in Indore was flown to a receiver in Gurgaon on Wednesday. To ensure that the organ reaches its destiny on time, traffic from Devi Ahlyabai Holkar airport to Choithram hospital was stopped for ten minutes, while the ambulance made its way through the green corridor.
