Clean Ganga: SC pulls up pollution boards for not taking stringent action against industries

Taking into consideration the present state of river Ganga, the Supreme Court on Wednesday criticised the Centre and state pollution control boards for their failure to take action against defaulters.The Supreme Court pulled up the Centre as well as pollution control boards for failing to act against polluting industries functioning on the banks of the holy river.
