Putting an end to all speculations over alliances, the former Bihar chief ministers and bitter political rivals for over two decades, Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad Yadav, on Monday, addressed the first joint public rallies in Bihar's Hajipur.

The duo have come together with an objective to keep Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) away from a win in the Bihar state Assembly elections.

Criticised the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Nitish said, “Good days were promised, but where are the good days? People are still waiting. Good day's haven't come for people, but have come for some BJP members. The government will not reduce inflation, they will only save their seats.”
