Narendra Modi will go to Nepal on Sunday, the first bilateral visit by an Indian PM in 17 years, as he takes forward his initiative to economically integrate South Asia. Adding an interesting personal twist, traveling with the PM as part of his entourage, will be a young Nepali boy, Jeet Bahadur, who had been separated from his parents and will be restored to them.
In a departure statement, Modi said he would "identify steps to strengthen our bilateral cooperation in key sectors, including trade and investment, hydro power, agriculture" which would open a new chapter in bilateral ties.
