Modi wave engulfs India, biggest mandate since 1984

The early leads and trends in General Elections 2014 suggest that the Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party is heading for the biggest mandate for a single-party since 1984. Sonia and Rahul Gandhi have led the party to its worst defeat in its history. This augurs well for the country for it means we are going to have a stable government where the allies will not be able to call the shots and tie the central government down, hand and foot. This is why the BSE Sensex is heading for the moon. Around mid-morning, it had crossed 25,000 for the first time ever.
