India News : Donning a skullcap and promising strict action against the perpetrators of communal violence in Muzaffarnagar, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav seems to be playing "Maulana Mulayam" in Uttar Pradesh. His father and Samajwadi Party (SP) president Mulayam Singh Yadav had been given the title of 'Maulana' by Muslim clerics in 1990 when he, as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, had ordered the police to open fire on kar sevaks in Ayodhya, resulting in deaths of several Hindu zealots.
