Yasin Bhatkal: Security agencies arrest Indian Mujahideen mastermind

New Delhi: In a major breakthrough, the home-grown terror outfit Indian Mujahideen (IM) founder Yasin Bhatkal has been arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), on Thursday, after being on the run for over five years.

According to reports, the terror mastermind was caught from Gorakhpur in eastern Uttar Pradesh near the Indo-Nepal border in an operation led by the NIA. Bhatkal, the key accused in Hyderabad and Mumbai blasts was arrested along with another IM leader Akhtar, official sources said. According to sources, Bhatkal is being brought to Delhi.
