J&K Terror Attack: Five Indian Army soldiers who were conducting an area domination patrol near Chakan da Bagh area were killed in the attack after 15-20 Pakistanis intruded Indian territory.A Subedar and four jawans of the 21 Bihar Bihar regiment were killed in the attack which took place at around 2 AM, the sources said.J&K CM Omar Abdullah confirmed the killing of 5 Indian soldiers.

According to sources, Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed had visited areas along LoC in third week of July. On Saeed's directions three outfits LeT, HM and JeM are jointly making infiltration bids along LoC and IB.There was involvement of terrorists in the attack as well.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has denied firing on Indian troops on Kashmir border. Pakistan army official says "there was no indiscriminate firing" by Pakistan forces on Kashmir border, according news agency Reuters.
