Pak Terror: Five Indian soldiers killed by Pakistan army in LOC

Pak Terror: In yet another ceasefire violation, an Indian post in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir was ambushed by Pakistani troops along LoC in the wee hours of Tuesday. Five Indian Army soldiers who were conducting an area domination patrol near Chakan da Bagh area were killed in the attack after 15-20 Pakistanis intruded Indian territory.

A Subedar and four jawans of the 21 Bihar Bihar regiment were killed in the attack which took place at around 2 AM, the sources said. J&K CM Omar Abdullah confirmed the killing of 5 Indian soldiers. "Was briefed early this morning about news that 5 of our soldiers had been killed on the LOC. My heartfelt condolences to their next of kin," Omar tweeted this morning.

According to sources, Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed had visited areas along LoC in third week of July. On Saeed's directions three outfits LeT, HM and JeM are jointly making infiltration bids along LoC and IB.Sources also said there was involvement of terrorists in the attack as well.Meanwhile, Pakistan has denied firing on Indian troops on Kashmir border.
