CM Jaya snubs PM, backs Koodankulam N-plant protesters

As protest over the Koodankulam plant intensifies, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Jayalalithaa has brushed aside Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's advice. Speaking in Tuticorin, Jayalalithaa held out to protesters at the nuclear plant in Koodankulam, saying she will ensure that the interests of the people of Koodankulam are not compromised. She told protesters she would be one among them in resolving the Kudankulam issue.
