India News: JDU chief Sharad Yadav harshly opposed IPL culture stating, "I want the government to ban IPL because there is every evil associated with it. It is satta (gambling), hawala (money-laundering) and sex. It is an immoral thing. The government should act against it."
He further added, "People look upon cricketers as icons, celebrities and role models. When cricketers indulge in such activities, they will tend to believe they are acceptable because the ones involved are their heroes."
