It is a hard fact of history that when Indians are exploited by foreigners other Indians are usually act as the middlemen between the exploiters and the exploited. With thousands of Indians dying from rampant and uncontrolled clinical trials -- the testing of experimental drugs on human beings -- it is easy to blame the foreign drug companies trying to develop new drugs. But the sad truth is that Indians are just as complicit in this cruel trade -- acting as procurers for these foreign companies sourcing for them the poor, illiterate people who they fool, force or lure into becoming human lab rats.
