The director and screenwriter of the movie "Green Book" say the film connected with audiences because it "mirrors...things that are happening today." On the Oscars red carpet, director Peter Farrelly says the film, nominated for several categories including Best Picture, inspires people "to be hopeful" and make "the world a better place."
