Graffiti artists spray paint contemporary designs on ancient Thai umbrellas

Street artists spray-painted graffiti-style designs on these ancient Thai silk umbrellas at a town in north Thailand.

Graffiti artists gave a contemporary twist on the large sun umbrellas, that are normally decorated with intricate oriental and floral patterns, at the Bo Sang Umbrella Village in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand last month (January 25).
