LAHORE: Detained Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Abdul Aleem Khan has been transported to the accountability court on Friday, ARY News reported.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials brought the PTI leader amid tight security as Khan is to be produced before the court today in a case pertaining to assets beyond known sources of income and offshore companies.

A large number of Khan’s supporters have gathered outside the premises, and have been chanting slogans in favor of their leader.

As per details, the bureau will request the court to remand the suspect to its custody for another 15 days. Accountability court judge Najamul Hassan will hear the case.

NAB prosecutor Waris Ali will give arguments on plea for extension in physical remand.
