Is Kombucha Really
Good for You? Kombucha has become increasingly popular in
recent years. It's made of fermented green or black tea, sugar, yeast
and bacteria. Aficionados swear the golden, fizzy beverage has various

for Human Nutrition Even the proposed gut-health benefits remain disputed, as plenty of other fermented and whole foods have the same benefits. The low pH of the beverage is comparable to soda, so it may not be great for your teeth. Experts agree that kombucha is safe to consume daily, but pregnant women and immunocompromised people should consult their doctors first.
