Temple - A sacred place of worship or more. The word ‘temple’ has originated from the Latin word ‘Templum’ which means a structure reserved for religious or spiritual prayers or sacrifices. Watch this video to know all about temples.

1 India is a land where diverse religions are followed, and every faith has its own set of houses of worship, be it Church, Mosque or Synagogue.
2 Amongst them, we can find Temples that are dedicated to the service or worship of a one or more deities, especially for Hindus.
3 There are numbers of mesmerizing Hindu temples across India in different locations and various structural and elegant architectural designs.
4 Not only that, they are also termed by several names inclusive of; Mandir, Kshetram, Gudi, Kavu, Deool, Devasthana, Degul, Devalaya and more.
5 Buddhist monasteries includes the structures called Stupa, Wat and Pagoda in different regions and languages.
6 In a Jain temple, a pillar known as a Manastambha (column of dignity) is often constructed in front of the entrance.
7 A Masjid (mosque) is an Islamic place of worship where the followers conduct Sajada - prostration to God in prayer. The mosques are decorated with elaborate domes, minarets and huge prayer halls.
8 It is believed that the location of any temple or place of worship has pure magnetic and electric waves flowing freely from the northern end to the southern end.
9 The temple floors are considered as good conductors of positive vibrations. By walking bare feet, we allow these vibrations to pass through our feet into the body.
10 The positive energy existing in the worship place stimulate the five senses in our body.
